A good place to start is lasvegasadvisor.com or you could just Google the name of any of the newer hotels.

The newest hotel complex is The Wynn and the Aladdin is currently in remodel status, changing to Planet Hollywood. The old San Remo has recently been converted to Hooters.

Like "janisko" said this is a good site for info on every hotel/casino in Las Vegas
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com "VEGAS INFO" >Hotels & Casinos

If you're wanting info on the "new" construction that's going on in Las Vegas=future hotel casinos. I can help you out a little there.

Planet Hollywood - Is building "the Miracle Mile" a 50 story tower.

Cosmopolitan - Is being built South of Bellagio, has 3000+ rooms, cost 1.8 billion $ , completion projected for 2008.

The MGM-Mirage "Project City Center" - is going in between the Cosmopolitan and Monte Carlo. Cost 7 billion $, 8 towers, completion is set for November of 09.

Palazzo - will connect to the Venetian on the North side, this is a 1.8 billion $ project with 3025 rooms and is set for completion in December of 07

Encore - is being built next to the Wynn, cost 1.7 billion $, this one has 2050 rooms and is set for completion late in 08.

Echelon Place - is going in where the Stardust stood. This is a 4 billion $ project, set for completion in late 2010 or early 2011.

Fontainebleau - Going in on the site of the El Rancho, This is a 1.5 billion $ project with 4000 rooms. I'm not sure of the completion date.

Lady Luck - is still closed. No work is being done. ?? If anybody knows what's going to happen they are not saying.

Aliante Station - This one is going in North Las Vegas. Cost 600 million $ and has 202 rooms.

To read reviews on any/all LV hotels/casinos either use the Las Vegas Advisor or I like both of these two sites
http://www.tripadvisor.com
http://www.cheapovegas.com

We go to LV 2-3 times a year for 2 weeks or more at a time and have for over 20 years. If you have a Q on one of the hotels feel free to e-mail me.

Newest hotel on the strip? name wise would be Planet Hollywood (a.k.a. The Aladdin) the newest built one would be The Wynn 2005.

Come back next year and we will have 3 or 4 new ones

I saw a cool picture in the Las Vegas Review/Journal > newest casino is the Planet Ho > the crane broke and for a day that was the name on the building. I thought it was amusing
