i am in the same situaltion - i have had three jars or pickled onions tormenting me since xmas 2005 - i have not been able to get into one of them - i refuse to throw them out because they are all still well in date (i owe this to the person who invented pickling!) however i refuse to buy more as i alredy have 3 juars in the cupboard!

I would wish for the strength to open up my pickle jar......I take that back, ALL pickle jars. I would be the official pickle jar opener. I would wheel such power, but I would be a fair & merciful opener. I would open for all walks of life rich, poor, big & small. It would be intoxicating.

I wish I owned some land that I had dominion over. It would be my on little country. The land would have to be able to produce everything I needed to survive comfortably and It would need to produce enough so I could afford to pay the worker I would need to keep the country functioning.
