josh beckett will win the most games this year for the redsox, simply because he did so much work during the offseason and said he will now listen more to v-teks calls from behind the plate a close second will be dice-k followed by schilling

If Curt Schilling pitches like he did yesterday here on out, he IS still the Red Sox ace...even at 40...Dice K is the ace in waiting, with the price tag, Josh Beckett is #2 behind Curt Schilling...So, considering Dice K might hit some "rookie" bumps in the road, I say Schilling and Beckett...Tim Wakefield is a little too inconsistent sometimes...can get you 10 Ks, but can also get you 10 walks...

Prior to this year, I thought it was going to be Beckett, hands down. He has MLB experience and has the pitches when he doesn't rely too much on the fastball.
After seeing Dice-K and Schilling though, I think it's going to be an interesting battle.
SO FAR, Schilling looks like he has made the adjustment from power pitcher to veteran control pitcher. He is hitting his spots and making batters hit the pitch HE wants them to. He has gone 14 scoreless innings and has kept his pitch count down, which means he'll have more in the tank for the stretch run.
Dice-K has movement on virtually every pitch he throws. I've seen some Major League hitters take some swings that made them look pretty silly, and that's not an easy thing to do.
In the end, I am still going to stay with Beckett. He's younger and playing a young man's game. But I think Dice-K and Schilling are going to be right on his heels.

This might sound crazy but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Jon Lester. The league couldn't figure him out at all last year and he'll be back in the next couple of weeks without the crazy expectations faced by Beckett and Dice-K. He should get 25 starts or so if he remains healthy and could win 16-17 games if all goes well and the bullpen holds up for him.

Beckett. He looks the best right now with his electric fastball. Dice K will eventually get figured out by all the hitters like all the other japenese pitchers did. Beckett will have a good shot a 15-20 wins this year with a low era.

i think it will be Beckett IF he stays healthy... if not then i think Dice-K
I think everyone right now has dice-k fever...
besides dice-k first start because that was against the royals... i think the danny almonte kid from the little league world series could have done that against them but he didnt look all that well against seattle either and im a seattle fan but seattle is not a good hitting ball club... they rely on pitching... granted king felix had a great game against them but still i dont think dice-k will have the stuff to beat teams like the yankees
we know beckett can he did it with the marlins
so to answer your question i would say beckett if healthy if not then dice-k because schilling is too old

Dice-K,Shilling,or Beckett all will get over 10 wins if they all stay healthy!!!!They have the best pitching staff in the division so anyone of those three can do well this season because they all got off to good starts.

Well I despise the red sox I think dice-k will he is a great japaneese pitcher who had two good games this season one was a loss because the other pitcher had a one hitter for more than half of the game. Dice-K the best japaneese pitcher of all.
