Marie Antoinette (German: Maria Antonia von Österreich; French: Marie Antoinette d'Autriche; November 2, 1755 – October 16, 1793), born Archduchess Maria Antonia of Austria (German: Erzherzogin Maria Antonia von Österreich), and later becoming Marie Antoinette, Queen of France and Navarre (French: Marie Antoinette, reine de France et de Navarre) (pronounced /mariː ɑnt̪wanɛt̪/), was the Queen consort of France, as the wife of Louis XVI. She was the daughter of the Holy Roman Emperor Francis I and Maria Theresa of Austria. She was married to Louis XVI at age 14, and was the mother of "the lost Dauphin" Louis XVII. Marie Antoinette is perhaps best remembered for her legendary (and, some modern historians say, exaggerated) excesses, and for her death: she was executed by guillotine at the height of the French Revolution in 1793, for the crime of treason.

Marie-antoinette was Queen of France and Navare.
She was the wife of King Louis XVI and was coming from Austria.
She used to spend a lot of money and don't care of her people so french citizen didn't like her.
When the revolution arrived, she asked to her brother (archiduc of austria) to come in france with the army to put the king and her back to the throne, so she was accused to have sold the country to fooreign power.
so she has been guillotined

Marie Antoinette was a French Queen, the wife of some Louis or the other. Sixteenth, I think. Check up your dates and the history from Google.

Anyway, she was beautiful and careless and callous, and so she got overthrown by the Revolution especially after she very kindly told the people to eat cake, when they didnt have bread to eat.

There was a big row about a pearl necklace of hers which later turned up in England, and was bought by a couple of American tourists for a few bucks.

A former queen of France, the wife of Louis the XVI. Fascinating, yet tragic life story.
