I know downloading is the "hot" thing now, but I love my music albums. No matter if my iPod ran out of juice, the music on my CD's will always be there (as long as I don't break it). They're becoming less common now, but do you still love yours?

YES!!! What music today is lacking is full albums!! We live in a world of "singles" now. Full albums don't seem to matter much anymore. Nobody seems to listen to an album front to back anymore.

Anyway...that's why I love my CD's. "Wish You Were Here", "Born To Run", "OK Computer".......I don't think I could listen to just a single off of any of these albums.

Don't get me wrong...I love my iPod...but more for making personal playlists and portability. Even on there, though, I listen to full albums. Nothing beats the physical CD, though.

Like you said, downloading is the thing now. i'm not gonna say that i don't do it, but every tuesday, i buy the latest music, on CD. to a lot of people around me, they think it's old school or whatever, but to me the CD represents everything that the artist meant to sell. for example, its not just the music, but the album art, the original photography, everything, even down to the case that the CD comes in. i love it. nothing is ever going to stop me from buying CD's. middle finger the download group and ipod nation. thanks for posting this question.

Yeah, sometimes I miss listening to them. but if only they come up ith something that wouldnt scratch the Cds, I wouldnt have bought my Mp3 player. Its clear that the music on Cds sound better that ur mp3 player, but as of right now, i'll stick to my ipod.

Yes. I haven't bought any new ones lately--because of money constraints. But when I get a break, I'm going to buy my saved list on Amazon.com and start really cracking down on my music library!

Yes because if you have 300,000 songs in an I-Pod & it gets destroyed, you lose 300,000 songs, If you lose a CD you only lose maybe 30 songs at the most, but not your entire collection!
