Buddy tape it to the one next to it. Take motrin for the pain. Can use ice for the swelling.

If it is broken and misshappened then you will want to be seen by either your doctor or an ortho.

I broke my toe the day before a karate tournament and I had tot umble (gymnastics flips) on a hard gym floor! It was lovely! I do however, remember the doctor telling me to tape it to the next toe. but I found it very difficult to do because pinky toes are generally curled a bit and it hurt to rearrange it and contort it in different ways to tape it, so I just left it and sucked it up! Apparently it worked, because I won the whole tournament!

The first answerer is right, tape the pinky toe to the fourth toe with first aid tape, the toe will heal quickly on its own.

by medical tape
just ask your pharmacist where its at
wrap it next to your other toe
btw the doctors wont be able to do anything about it except giving you the same advice you get here if its a fracture in the middle of the bone
nd jus a little advice after you've showered wait a bit and make sure your toe is super dooperly dry or you will get fungus (happened to my sister not pretty)
you'll be fine =]
good luck

Tape it to the toe next to it until it is healed, there is nothing a doctor can do for the small toe that you can not do for yourself.

Immobilize it by taping it to the next toe with a piece of cotton in between, and limp around until it heals.

Strap it to the toe next to it and try and keep off your foot.
Elevating and alternating between hot and cold will help with the pain as will pain relief such as panadol or nurofen.

depends on the break. sometimes nothing and just let it heal, other times, get it aligned by a doc, or occassionally surgery with pins/rods.
