Rap, Hip-Hop, and R&B from the past 10 years are the absolute WORST (it used to be decent). I could also do without the really twangy type of country music. The aforementioned 3 genres, though, are the bottom of the barrel. It always seems to have a negative message, and is ruining the culture and the language.

I love good music. I'm not a genre person, but if there is one genre that has the least amount of good music it would have to be country western.
By the way people!!! Rap does not equal hip-hop. Personally, I don't like rap, but I love hip-hop. To understand what hip-hop is listen to Common, Lauryn Hill, Mos Def etc. I'm sure all of you have heard rap because it's all over the place, but please don't confuse it with hip-hop. I don't go around confusing pop music with rock music.

I like all good music and dislike most bad music... Good music is made by true sincere people who really try to hone their craft...Bad music is made by the opposite...Dis honest insincere bull******* who are out to make a quick buck...There is not a genre of music out there where both these types of people don't exist. I truly believe people who say they hate a certain style of music haven't taken time to really listen to the good stuff that is out there in all gene re's so if you say you don't like a style of music...You are really saying you don't like that culture...Think about it!

Undeniably RAP and HIP-HOP. This isn't music. Might be expressionism...whatever. And what is with the country music coming out in the past 10-15 years? It might make me a hippocrit, but I like old bluegrass instrumental mostly and old Johnny Cash.

Mainstream pop. With mainstream, people buy the CD's and download the songs in abundance- it all seems like a dream come true. However, a good portion of the music in mainstream pop can be made with little to no thought whatsoever and/or it can be utterly tasteless.

I hate country's tunes, the lyrics aren't terrible, but all the songs tend to have the same melody.
I hate rap/hip-hop's lyrics. Some tend to have cool rhythyms and catchy tunes but they tend to be about doing some stuff with some girls...

I can give it to you by decades-
70's- Disco. I hated it. It sucked, and it still sucks.
80's - New wave. Gag! Thank God they died!
90's- Hair bands. They all sounded alike, and finally died.
Now- Rap and Hip Hop. Gag!! That aint music!
