Hi New, Being 18 and gay is pretty scary.Finding another gay guy isn't as hard as you think it is. Go to some of these chat rooms and i bet you will find more that one in the chat room. That way you can asks your question and get advice with someone who has already came out. Try this and it will help you.

Well, I am 20 and I came out when I was 17. It wasn't easy, and I didn't have any guy friends that I could talk to it about. I got through it and I did just fine in my opinion. During my first year or so of being out, I spent so much time at my best girlfriends house that people thought that we were having sex all of the time.

Right here. You have no one to answer to, and you can find someone to express yourself with. I have talked to various people om IM and email about their problems. Unless they sent me a picture, I don't even know what they look like.

So far, I am told that I am helpful.

If you want to come out, there are ALWAYS going to be problems in your life. Hell, even when staying in the closet you're going to be dealing with problems. :S

if by "talk to without making problems" you mean "date while still being in the closet," you are a jerk. that's not fair to anyone.

besides, staying in the closet makes it *really* hard to meet people.
