If it's happening after high load use (in heavy traffic, etc), then the oil is getting hot from clutch use. The clutch adds a ton of heat to the oil (more than combustion does, actually), so in spots like stop-and-go traffic, the clutch is used alot, and heats up the oil.
Solution is an oil cooler (as mentioned), but also to be sure you're running very high quality motorcycle oil that's recommended specifically for your model. Many automotive oils have energy conservation additives that create some problems with clutch slip. Using a motorcycle-specific oil can help this problem.
With a performance bike like this, you'll also want to change the oil frequently - check your manual for what Suzuki recommends.
Now, if the light is coming on at odd times - when the engine is cool, etc. Then it's a faulty light or sensor, and should be taken into the dealership for warranty fix.

May be just a grounding issue on the wiring - take it to the dealer to check.

CHECK THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH IF IT HAS ONE. OR U CAN PUT A DIPSTICK WITH A TEMP. GAUGE ON IT. IF THE TEMP. IS NORMAL ON DIPSTICK ITS AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM OR A COOLENT PROBLEM, IF IT HAS A RADIATOR IN FRONT.
