How do you work this out??????

In an enzyme-catalyzed reaction, 50.0 micromoles of substrate are formed in 25 minutes of digestion. Therefore the activity of the enzyme was?

b) 0.5 units
c) 2.0 x 10 power of 3 units
d) 5.0 units

Okay - well I didn't know this one so I had to look in wikipedia. One enzyme activity unit (1 U) is the same as 1 micromol/min.

So...

50 micromol in 25 min is the same as
10 micromol in 5 min is the same as
2 micromol in 1 min

So activity of the enzyme is 2.0 U
