I am 19 and need ways to make money. Besides a job what are some ways I can generate some extra cash? I'm basically looking for things I can do myself. My own business of some sort. Delivering, selling, servicing, investing.

You mentioned selling, delivering, servicing, and investing. You can try selling on eBay. Or set up your own website where you can sell products or services. Investing typically requires capital, so unless you have some, that's out. Servicing would require that you knew how to service something. Are you experienced with cars, electronics, appliances, or anything of that sort? If not, you'd probably need to go to some sort of trade school. Delivering would be an option, but that's usually a job where you're working for someone else, and you seem to want to be self employed. I would focus on finding products to sell, and identifying a way to sell it.

Without knowing you, it's kinda hard to tell you what would work best for you. What do you have passion in? For some people it would be web design while others could write newsletters. Some people may want to sell collectibles on Ebay while others would lose money doing that. Maybe you have a recipe for the best home made chocolate in the world or can't boil water. Only YOU know what marketable skills you have. Whatever you do, make sure you are the best at it and customers will find you. Educate yourself so you are well prepared for challenges thrown your way. You are wise to consider your own business rather than working for someone else but whatever you choose has to come from your mind, body and soul.

If you a minor child under 14 you mow lawns get a newspaper route do yard work weeding etc... if you are 14 to 16 you can get a work permit with your parents permission through your school.Also stay in school go to college for a great career...

knock on some doors or put up signs in grocery stores or in newspaper...do u know how to paint houses ,mow lawns,clean houses,babysit,rake leaves,shovel snow????there r all kinds of things to help ppl out with!
