yea I also knew at lift-off i'd be moving at the same speed of the earth, that force would have to be countered in order for me to stay still ... just didnt feel like mentioning it

Not if it was hovering over the North Pole, then it would be stationary. If it was at the Equator, then it would have traveled around as the Earth rotated, assuming it maintained its position above the ground.

Depends on what you mean by "hovered in one position". At liftoff, you'd be moving at the same speed as the Earth was rotating. Unless you added some force to "stop" that motion relative to the spin of the Earth, you'd stay above that point. That force would be significant, since at the equator, the spin is about 1600 kph. You have to be moving against the spin at that speed, and hope there aren't any mountains higher than 200m that you'd smash into during your "hover."

OK here is the answer following your question - no the hover craft would not have traveled around the earth but the earth would have spun one whole day under you. Distance from earth would not be a factor, however if too low watch out for mountains.

nope... you're way off, sorry. God has no longer left heritage to spread upon itself. it really is the full factor of prophecy. so that you'll keep in mind that once this stuff come to bypass, that there is a God contained in the glory who's orchestrating all issues in accordance to His objective. undergo in recommendations the former problems with previous: for i'm God, and there is none else; i'm God, and there is none like me, protecting the proper from the starting up, and from historic circumstances the flaws which aren't from now on yet performed, saying, My guidance shall stand, and that i will do all my exhilaration. Sure - just like we all do. But if you aren't moving with respect to the earth, it will feel like you're standing still. Which is why we all don't going flying off into space.

well like airplane flying across dateline in opposite direction, the earth would turn below you, hovercraft can always be refueled, eventually a day would pass
