Yes the CD's are becoming obsolete in a 2 or 3 year, or maybe before that. I'm not buying any CD in a store like year or more, and all my friends too. that is for two reasons, one the piracy, and two buying music over the Internet and put in the mp3 or ipods. for the me the ipod change my life. buying the music in itunes, you can safe space, because I got all my Cd's I buy are in the ipod, and now I have that Cd's cases in a box in the basement.
that's for sure the CD's are going to be obsolete.

Mp3s don't skip to my knowledge, they don't have to be cleaned and they don't SKIP!!! did I say that already? So in short, yes, CDs are *becoming* obsolete, but I still find them good for buying a large chunk of songs and downloading to my computer to put in my mp3 player... so CDs aren't completely obsolete, but they are quickly becoming... I wonder if anything will come after mp3s : /

Possibly but not completely...
I got a package of recordable CDs on a whim because it was $2 for a pack of 20 and I made a few burned CDs for my significant other <3
I don't think he owns an MP3 player and if he did it would be pointless because he doesn't seem to need one. He listens to CDs in his car which he drives to commute to work, to see me, etc.

nicely, finally they are going to be out of date. yet remember, they nonetheless make and sell VCR gamers, so it will take a on the same time as. i don't have an ipod the two, and have no plans to get one every time quickly.
