I used tampons for about ten years with no problem as long as I changed them frequently. Until I forgot I had one still in there and put another one in. YUK! The thing with tampons is that they leave bacteria in the vagina - even if you change them frequently there is bacteria from the previous one. That takes the chance of acquiring toxic shock which is very serious. It is really up to the individual. Care should always be used and never forget about one and add another. Pads are icky but really much safer. Good Luck with your choice whatever it is.

If your friend is worried about using tampons, tell her to use the feminine pads instead of toilet paper. The pads would be far more absorbent.
Tampons is a personal preference. Some women or girls, depending on her age, are uncomfortable with the tampon insertion. That's normal. But using toilet paper is just not practical.

Well, tampons are very usfull if you like to wear any kind of thongs or g-strings but if you don't care about an underwear line showing then go for the pads they would be better for her if she is worried about tampons. Never use the toilet paper because it can be messier and not as absorbant!

There must be an guideline sheet within the field. I have not used tampax in a at the same time but when I consider adequately, lightly twist the 2 ends so that you've got ample room at the cardboard to softly insert, preserving the tampon within the tube. Make definite the string hangs out of the tip of the tube and make certain it hangs out of you for handy extraction. If you wish to have extra private aid, why now not touch the internet site. I'm definite there may be one furnished at the kit. Otherwise, kind in whatever like Tampax or Tampon Application/Insertion. Don't consider unhealthy.......equal factor occurred to me whilst I first began.

NO! The stuff shreds to pieces and the blood and bits of paper will go everywhere! It's messy and bits of paper can get stuck inside too.
She should use pads.

she doesn't "have" to use a tampon.... some women never do. Why isn't she just using pads?
Look at this site -- depends on how comfortable she is with her body, but some of these products are very comfortable.
