Again ...?
Picking at a wound leaves a scar. I remember a life lesson that scar cost me to learn. I bear my scars honorably and proudly.
There are many scars that have disappeared, and I've forgotten their lesson I earned. That is like a ring or prize getting lost. Without seeing it everyday, the lesson gets lost in the other things that happen in life.
I say you should bare your scars proudly.
Never pay for the same lesson again, never forget. Regret isn't a lesson, it's a wish for guilt. Guilt is not a lesson. It's trying to assign blame.
You don't need blame to get rid of your responsibility in the game. Make it yours, and move on to getting over it. Pick at the wound to make a nice scar so you will never forget the lesson you've learned.
Then, keep it clean so it can heal. That'll be $20 co-pay.

I don't know, people are saying they can forgive, but not forget. If you think about it, if you can't forget about it then how can you forgive. Say one person cheats on the other. People say they forgive you, but when ever a fight breaks out, they always bring it up, so in all reality, they havent forgiven you.
Why would you want to relive something you regret? Doesnt make sense to me.

Forgiving is easy, it's the forgetting part that's hard. But what is the point of holding a grudge? Once something is done, it's done, and nothing will change it. Why drive myself crazy reliving the experience?

Depending on the situation I would most likely forgive and forget.
