Yes, I married someone who then started telling me how to dress.
We're not married anymore.
Nobody tells me how to dress.

I've dated guys who wanted me to wear short skirts and shorts to show my legs. They just adored me too much for that.

Maybe the reason why your past boyfriends didnt want you wearing short shorts is either ur legs are not good enough or u just dont know how to carry them with decency. Sometimes we have to accept the fact that what seem sexy to us is a turn-off to others. I hope this will helps.

Definitely! I'm a girl in a relationship like that. My boyfriend doesn't like me wearing short skirts either. Also knee highs. My friend's boyfriend too. But, I always tell her and him she can wear what she wants *** long as it's not sluttish. And mini skirts aren't sluttish. You can wear what u want b/c u wanna wear it. But boy do I know what u mean. I don't follow my own advice though cuz I'm dumb like that, but I do follow it sometimes. you can't let it get out of hand.

I had many girlfriends who tried to dictate how I should dress. My only argument was that I dressed how I felt comfortable. I took their suggestions if they were willing to buy me soething I liked, or if I first asked for their opinions. If they tried to force a clothing choice on me, of something I was not interested in, I merely did not buy it, or I refused to wear what they had bought for me.

The best: One woman spent 6 months trying to make me buy one outfit that I hated. The day we broke up, I went and bought that outfit and wore it to the house the day I moved my stuff out. Man was she pissed.. funny thing is the clothes were damn comfortable and I still have that pair of pants to this day!!

YES,
-those are the ones you don't want to stay with,,,
-first they tell you what you can and can't wear,
-then who you can and can't talk to,
-where you can and can't go,
and it just goes from there,,,,
fricken' control freaks,,,,,,UGHHH, I hate them!!!!

No man will ever tell me what i can and cannot do/wear ever again,,,,

They way I see it, if you got it FLAUNT IT!!!!!(Within reason)
If I did, I sure the hell would!!!!!

One tried to tell me to stop wearing my boots. He loved high heels and thought boots weren't cute. Oh well, I've moved on from his madness.

All men get " you're not wearing that are you ?" , but in your case it sounds like a control thing .
