Definately! My dog got ahold of my turtle and completely devoured him! Always keep your crab out of the dog's reach.

Ummm...lets see, can my dog kill a hermit crab? A dog has large teeth and likes to chew on things such as bones and other hard objects until they crack them or just chew them to pieces. And a hermit crab is a little bitty crab in a hard object such as a shell. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say "YES" your dog can kill a hermit crab.

Yes. there have been cases where people report that their dog somehow managed to force a crab out of its shell and EAT it or even just swallow the crab, shell and all! So I'd keep my crab far away from any dogs, if I were you. Cos an EATEN crab is a DEAD crab.

Hermit crabs are very delicate and your canines ought to extremely kill it with out even which ability too, i ought to in no way leave a crab unsupervised on the floor besides, it really is extremely common to lose song of the position they're and step on it.

Depends where you keep your hermit crab.
Your dog, through, curiosity, would sniff it and most likely paw it. {As a cat does with a ball of string.}
The dog want physically kill it, but the crab, could die from all the stress.
Curiosity killed the Crab.......Not the cat.

yeah since dogs can crack bones they can surely crack a crab. Wouldn't risk it. Or your dog taking a serious pinch to the nose or mouth.
