You NEED to install the webcam's software driver first BEFORE connecting the webcam. Then shutdown the computer and connect the webcam. Turn on the computer. Windows should now detect the webcam and either automatically activate it or lead you to the process of activating it.

Its a vary simple if you have window Xp then connect your web cam when you connect it one little message come on the corner of your PC Like found a new hardware then a big screen come to install your web cam then put a CD which come with web came.its a driver CD. put it into CD driver & follow the tnstruction. you can install it eassaly. o.k
