it comes with rain. it takes away evrthing. it swirls around. Haven't you seen it? i mean...i haven't seen it with my own eyes, i have seen in TV

A tornado is a violently rotating column of air which is in contact with both a cumulonimbus (or, in rare cases, cumulus) cloud base and the surface of the earth. They are measured in an F scale ranging from F1 to F5 with F5 being the worst violent. Here are some pictures of tornadoes

well the violently rotating column of air part the other guy said is right, but the F0-F5 scale is wrong......as of February 1, 2007 the scale was modified from the original Fujita-Pearson scale to the Enhanced Fujita (EF) scale, both range from 0-5, however, there are now 28 different criteria that are examined to classify a tornado....things such as building materials, building structures, and surroundings.
