If I could sum up in one word what I have learned in 70 years it would be "accept". Learn to accept yourself first, without judgment and with love; then learn to accept life, also without judgment. Life presents challenges, learning opportunities...constantly. It is up to me to decide whether I choose to view these challenges as obstacles, handicaps, troubles, problems or simply learning opportunities. I work hard at trying to accept myself as I am and life as it comes to me. And along the way, have a lot of fun, laugh a lot, and then some more. And love yourself and others.

I have learned, FINALLY, that we are far more powerful than anyone could ever guess, and that we truly do create just exactly what we think about with the most energy, and most of our time. The Cosmos doesn't have much of a sense of humor, and that weather we spend all of our time NOT wanting a thing or WANTING a thing, it looks the same to the cosmos, and it will definitely appear in our personal reality. We are just much more willing to accept non-life enhancing thoughts due to our early programming by well-meaning adult figures and family. I have learned that it is actually the most fervent desire of the Cosmos to bring each and every one of us the things IT "thinks" that we most desire, based on our very own thoughts.
The result of these things I have learned is that I am VERY conscientious about what I think, what I say and what I do in all moments of every day. This is known as Conscientious Living, and the results of doing it are both dramatic and immediate. The hard part of this is to remember that this dynamic is true 24/7, no exceptions.

I' ve learned that parenting is not as hard as everyone thinks. Just don't worry about stupid stuff like how they act in preschool. Use your gut instincts and read up on stuff you're not sure of. I wished I enjoyed my baby more instead of worrying all tge time.
I also learned if you're in college, do internships instead of working at Dunkin Donuts.

I've learnt that it is important to be yourself and love yourself --- trying to please others all the time is not worthwile coz you can't please everyone everytime
I've learnt that a smile can be one of the most important things and smiling at someone can make your day and even theirs brighter.

I've learned that you never ever get exactly what you wish for. You need to think realistically, set small goals for yourself rather than huge ones. Use reality to form daydreams, not use daydreams to form reality. That sort of stuff.

That the biggest sin you can commit is to try and deceive yourself.....deceiving others too is deceiving yourself in essence.
