I have 2 mollies in a 10 gallon im trying to do every thing to enhance spawning, can keeping the light off add privacy?

Gary is right, the light can affect breeding. You shouldn't have a problem unless you leave it on too long.

No the light will not affect mollies breeding. Fish do not understand privacy no do they care.

No the light will not affect anything. Mollies usually breed during the day anyway.

Laugh..not so sure they're worried about privacy. They normally spawn better with an audience :) (Seriously...they do better in a harem situation)
If you have a couple more female mollies, put them in with the couple you have in there now. With a selection, he's more apt to breed.
They do need light for about 10 hrs a day. No more than that though.

well yes the light does affect it but not as much as the set up of the aquarium. Im sure youve read up on your task and you know what your doing. Ill just say, do you have a little bowl/ little cave/ heater/ no other fish in your tank.
