I don't really think you can define the meaning to love, even though I sometimes wish you could. I think it's just one of those emotions that we have that is a double-edge sword. Now I think that we love because most of us like the feeling of being loved and of being wanted. That's a good question. I think we all know what love is, and how we want it, but I do think that no one really knows the meaning of it. Truthfully, I say that we don't think about it too much, and just keep on living life. Now I do say that people should evaluate why a relationship didn't work and learn from it. But don't dwell on it too much, just know what you want out of it, and go with it. Hope this helps you.

Love is any of a number of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection or profound oneness. Depending on context, love can have a wide variety of intended meanings. Romantic love is seen as a deep, ineffable feeling of intense and tender attraction shared in passionate or intimate attraction and intimate interpersonal and sexual relationships. Love can also be conceived of as Platonic love, religious love, familial love, and, more casually, great affection for anything considered strongly pleasurable, desirable, or preferred, including activities and foods. This diverse range of meanings in the singular word love is often contrasted with the plurality of Greek words for love, reflecting the concept's depth, versatility, and complexity.

love is just another feeling,
but, unlike any other feelings we have, love is invincible.
and it is so because of the beauty and purity of it.
love is just like a whole different universe.
