What's an adequate tip in Las Vegas for people such as valet driver, bell man etc...?

Bellman: $1 per bag, no less than $2
Housekeeping staff: $2-$5 per night - leave it daily, since the person servicing your room today might not be the same one as the day you check out.
Cocktail waitress: $1 per drink
Casino dealer: $5 or so - more if you win big
Waitstaff in general: 15-20% of total check before any discounts

Valet, depends on how fast you want your car, and what day of the week. If it's a Friday or Saturday night, and you're in a hurry, give the valet your ticket plus a tip, the bigger, the faster they come.

Bell man $1-$2 a bag depending on size

Cocktail waitress $1-$2 each drink

Waitress 15-20%

Taxi 10-15% plus $1 bag

We actually asked the desk clerk what appropriate tips are and found we had been overtipping. For valet parking, suitcases/bags, etc. the expected amount is only $1.00 per car or bag. If you've got four bags I'd say $5.00. Always round up. When receiving complimentary drinks in the casino it's $1.00 each but less for water. If you're winning... be more generous. In restaurants it would be 15-20%, less for a buffet.

think of it as the equiv. of tipping a waitress while dining.
its usually 5 dollars a bag for a bell man, and for the driver its 15% - 20% of the fare......

just politely tell the bell boy that you would rather carry your own bags, if you want to save some cash.
