No. Please explain what you mean. The programs that are being used are to track and control terrorists. They are not targeting US citizens unless they are suspected terrorists. We are safe today because of them.

"By neo-cons so willfully giving away US rights, haven't they given a victory to the 9/11 perpetrators?"
Not yet.
Actually, it seems the conservatives are fighting two fronts in the war on terror - the terrorists in Iraq and the anti-war at any cost moonbats on the home front.

Well, the 9/11 perpetrators are all dead by now, so no.
The point of terrorism is to scare the crap out of the populace, and given the changes we've seen in recent years I'm pretty sure they succeeded. The government, the media, everyone is to blame for letting them win a psychological victory, not just the Neocons.
Although, that lot certainly did more than its fair share in helping out...

You don't hear George W. Bush saying "we have too much free speech ". That's Hillary Clinton's motto . Isn't it a hoot how everything is either a vast right-wing conspiracy with the liberals ; or they are twisting all their schemes and pretending they are conservative ideas ..So now , according to liberal legend ..fighting for freedom & democracy is equivilent to giving rights away ? If that isn't the biggest hoot yet . LOL

PERFECT!!!! Excellent point!
People who exchange liberty for security deserve neither. And for your information Bush is the one who perpetrated the terror attacks of 911.
First Google..."Stanley Hilton 911" Read this complaint.
Second Google..."Physics 911" Learn how the events of 911 defied the laws of physics and what the Bush Administration's motives were to make them orchestrate this event.
The "Truth Movement" is growing by the day and the guilty will be brought to justice.

Isn't it amazing that the neocon reaction to terrorists they described as hating freedom was to set about limiting the freedom of Americans, or at least monitoring the use of that freedom by Americans?
