change 9 to a 3 base (9^3 will become 3^6)

so you will have 3^5 times 3^6 so now that you have the same base you can just add up the powers

3^(5+6)= 3^11

3^5 * 9^3

=> 243 * 729

=> 177147 (using calculator)

or

3^5 * 9^3

=> 3^5 * (3^2)^3

=> 3^5 * 3^6

=> 3^(5+6) (law of indices)

=> 3^ 11

=>177147

which method u feel easy u can use it.

The usual way. Note that 9= 3x3. so we can replace 9^3 with 3^6. Now we have two multipliers with the same base. So we simply add exponents to get the answer of 3^11. Aint that thrilling?
