She is a stupid fat Pig that runs her mouth about things that have absolutely nothing to do with her and to the expense of others. I hate Rosie and i think it would make the world a better place if she would just shut her mouth or leave. I am all about freedom of speech but she talks about things that dont concern her and slanders the good name of a number of people.
Also she made racist remarks about asians and nothing happened....
Didn't Imus make some racial remarks and get away with it and Rosie walks?
Punish both!!!!
Where is Equality in this?

I think it's great that she's willing to question authority and speak up when she thinks she is right, I do think that's a good thing. When hardly any asked questions when we went to war with Iraq, we wound up making what was probably a major costly mistake.
But on the other hand, she has some pretty out there ideas, like 9/11 was caused by our govt. is bizarre; I think it is pretty conclusive it was caused by Saudi Arabian terrorists (although it seems that some conservative and liberals want everyone to believe otherwise for some weird reason). It is a shame when she expresses ideas like this b/c then when she does have legitimate ideas you tend to discount them.

As a TV personality she has a responsibility not to "shoot off her mouth" to incite trouble or controversy without a full understanding of the matter she comments on. A loudmouth down at the local pub spouting out his misinformed opinions is one thing, a public personality doing it is another. BUT if she is knowledgeable she should comment and create questions and prompt people to think and challenge. Her weight, size, and build are not the issue and people are counterattacking her supposed stupidity with their own ignorance further inflaming the issue. So if she is being politically or professionally irresponsible how is calling her names and insulting her making the situation any better?

I work and don't watch The View, but in general I feel the same way about her as I do about Don Imus, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity: I don't have to agree with them in order to support their freedom of speech. We have a great Constitution, and the First Amendment gives us this crucial freedom.
If anyone doesn't like what these people are saying, they can exercise their free speech and other choices. They can change the channel or turn off the TV. They can write to the network or the sponsors and voice their objections. The marketplace will take care of the situation because if the ratings go down, the show will be cancelled.
That's how I believe we should handle this type of thing in America. For our freedoms to work, we have to support everyone's freedoms, even those we don't agree with.

Rosie is a simpleton with the power of a bully pulpit. The fact that she might influence the thinking of even one American is appallingly scary.
Only ABC would posess the characteristic liberal (self)loathing of America that permits her to spew her insane invective.

I don't like most of what emits from her blowhole, think she's a hypocrite on gun laws(note she has Armed Body Guards), like she's a lousy actor......All that being said she has a right to her opinion and at the end of the day we are ALL going to die so none of this really means anything in the grand scale of life

I used to like her when she had her own talk show but now that she has become a political activist on subject she has no idea about I can't stand her!!!!!! She is a good person in the long run but she has no idea what she is talking about when she talks about the war/military, guns or the ages someone has to be to understand anything.(like when she told Elizabeth that she was too young to understand the war in Iraq and politics.) I am 27, married to and Army Specialist and I believe I understand all of it better then she does!

I think she was great when she first had her own show, but got a bit loud toward the end of it. I think she is completely out of control now, and have not, nor will not watch the view at all since she began on that show.

A big, fat, mouthy, terrorist loving, Communist. I think we need to deport her, or kick her out of a C-130 over Afghanistan. America would be better off without her.
