Not for years and years.
But recently, my 12 year old wanted to go to a party on a school night. Of course we didn't allow him to go. The look on his face expressed powerless ness.
Broke my heart.
I didn't (and do not) want him to EVER feel that. But we had to.
As a parent, school night parties are not allowed.
We spoke with him at lenght.
I wish, whenever anyone feels powerless, there is someone around to comfort you. Because somethimes the answer, is merely, No.

Yes! Of course! However, I feel empowered by the good Lord! He strengthens me and reminds me he is always in control! Turn it over to him and you feel more empowered and stronger because he will be your rock! Trust me on this! God bless

i think if you allow yourself to feel that way you will. anytime I start to feel like that I take a deep breath and say " This will not bring me down". It helps.
