I know your supposed to be 17 to take the pill but can it hurt a 16 year old? Can you die from taking the pill?

You don't have to be 17 to take Plan B.
You have to be 18 to buy it from a pharmacy, or you have to have a parents consent if you are younger then 18.
I took Plan B when I was 17 and without my parents consent. I was on regular birth control pills since I was 16 and I had missed a day. Back then you needed a prescription for it. So, I went to Planned Parenthood and got a prescription.
You won't die from taking Plan B. Plan B is basically just a higher dose of regular birth control.
I have taken Plan B twice. Once when I was 17, and again when I was 21 (this year). So far I don't have any kids and I haven't died from it :o)

If you are 16 and you need Plan B, you will need to go to a doctor or clinic to get a prescription.
Also, Plan B is not the same thing as the abortion pill!! That is a huge myth spread by people who don't have much experience in the medical field. The abortion pill is something completely different- it is called RU 486.

No and No. By law you need to be 18 or older to get it without a prescription. I won't hurt or kill you, since is only a high dose of a specific birth control pill. If you are 16 and you need it go to the doctor inmediately since the only way that it works is 24 hours after intercourse. Please be smart and take care of yourself, don't take risks. You are to young to be dealing with this. My suggestion stop having sex, you need to focus on school, but if is not a choice use condoms ALWAYS do not let a pennis touch your va-g-g without a condom EVER that way you will prevent STD (sexual transmtted diseases) and unwanted pregnancies. I started the pill earlier then 16..because it helped my migraines.....(Orthrotricyclian) It is also know to clear up acne. Most dr's recommended it.. I had no clue that it was a birthcontrol until I turned 21. hmmm..and had my first paps. '

No it cant hurt you to take it at 16. i took one wen i was like 15 n i was fine. no you cant die!

What are you doing having sex? Do you know that you are aborting a baby taking that pill? Do you not care about your unborn baby? Do you not care for yourself? Abortion and pill kills babies.
