Since there is Mom and Dad, hopefully by booking the aisle and window seat, no one will sit in the middle and then baby has a great place to play.

Try and get a seat at the bulk head so she can stand in front of you, play etc. Check everything you can thru and take only what you need for her. Make sure you have a couple of bottles ready and ask the cabin host who should heat them up for you. Make sure you have the "binky". You will need several changes of diapers and clothes, just in case. Carry the baby's favorite small size toys. Baby will be hungry so carry crackers and other easy to give foods.

Make sure you have a soft blanket and get a pillow or two. You can take the baby stroller until you enter the plane, and then they will check it in and give it back to you when you land.

I've seen lots of baby's that age do very well on the plane but several who found that take off hard due to the ear pressure. Good luck

Only an idiot lets their baby cry an entire flight! They cry because of the change in air pressure; they can't "pop" their ears. If you give him a bottle on each take off and each landing, you won't have this problem ever.

Are you bringing your own carseat? If you have to check it, then take the cloth cover part off so it doesn't get all yucky from the conveyer belt; just tuck it in your carry on bag.

Don't forget the umbrella stroller! You'll be asked to collapse your stroller at the security check; it's a real pain in the you-know-what to collapse a full size stroller over and over again.

During the flight, snacks and toys are a must have. Just bring along his favorite toys etc.

Honestly, it's easier to fly with a small baby than a toddler who wants to run about.

i traveld with my son when he was 5 months to visit family by air. It wasnt bad at all. He enjoyed the plane ride.

Dont forget enough diapers for the ride, wipes, bottle, formula if used, i bought disposable changing pads, gas drops, tylenol, baby oragel, favorite toys. I was fully prepared since it was our first time, and im a new mommy :)

have fun, and dont stress.

one hour lay over isn't lots time. Your going to be in a pinch to alter diapers. deliver an extra blanket which you will lay on the floor of the galley of the airplane. in case you need to exchange diapers on the airplane there is not any the place to do it- the galley of the airplane is the only place so deliver a blanket to placed on the floor to alter her- additionally deliver alongside a scented diaper sack or ziplock to get rid of grimy diapers. Have toddler drink a bottle on the take off and descent so as that her ears "pop" For the main section she ought to sleep the full time. i could propose getting a seat of her very own on the airplane and bringing her on in her toddler vehicle seat. additionally deliver some burp cloths and an extra exchange of clothing for toddler in simple terms in case. you need to have not have been given any difficulty bringing on formulation/pedialite etc. the risk-free practices makes it possible for toddler's desires. gown toddler in layers incase it truly is warm/chilly.

Toys she can chew or suck on will be great! They sell these great socks for babies with cloth tabs they can suck on, they are usually checkered (black and white) with bright colored tabs or animal ears attached to them, those are great! Make sure to breast/bottle feed her during take-off and landing so that her ears don't hurt.
