Whats going on... is my house haunted.. i need a serious answer?

i have a plug in heater in my room that in order for it to turn on you have to press the power button. last night i went to bed and at 4 in the morning i woke up and my heater was on. i didn't turn it on before bed so i turned it off and sat up trying to figure out why it was on when all of a sudden about 20 min later it turned itself on again. i was so freaked out that i unpluged it and couldn't really fall back to sleep. could it have been a ghost otherwise i have no idea why it turned on. i rent an older house and sometimes my roommates and i wonder if its haunted.

about two months ago my cell phone at my house would take random pictures without me pressing a thing. could that be another sign.

please help and please have serious answers only because i'm really freaking out

its been warm lately so i've had the heater turned off for about 3 days its only been plugged it

and the cell phone was just sitting on the table with nothing near it... my roommates even witnessed it it was freaky

my room is always cold due to poor insulation so figuring out if it was colder than normal is basically impossible being that its always cold and depending on my mood or whatever its colder or warmer

It's possible that there's something supernatural going on, and it's also possible that it, being an old house, has bad electrical wiring that makes devices act funny. Was your phone plugged in for charging when it took pictures?
In order to figure out if there's really a "ghost" around you really have to become a skeptic about it. Look for EVERY other explanation you possibly can. ANYTHING that could naturally explain what's going on. Yes - it does sound creepy - but what else could explain it?
Have other things happened that cause you to think it's haunted? What types of things? Ask questions about what you've seen/heard/experienced and try your best to explain it. If you can't for the life of you come up with any other explanation, then maybe you are dealing with a genuine haunting.
But - if you are dealing with a real haunting - it sounds like a pretty harmless, and possibly even friendly one (was the room cold when the heater went on?). So I wouldn't worry.
I usually am very skeptical at first - since 99% of these things are because of something other than ghosts or anything supernatural - but I do believe in that other 1% pretty strongly. Actually - I'd say if you have a ghost you're pretty lucky. Real hauntings are rare.
Don't freak out - chances are there's nothing scary going on. You'll be fine - but it might help put your (and your roommates') minds at ease if you discussed what's going on and tried to explain it.

some years ago my wifes neighbors had problem with ashtrays just sliding off the coffee table, in the middle of the day with people sitting in the room. They had the army corp of engineers come out and check the house to be sure it was level, and they found no reason for it to happen. When they went out for an evening with the family, this entity would take the pictures off the wall and take others and turn them face down, but only the ones with the fathers image on them. Also, in their little girls room, a doll would be on the girls bed when they returned or it would be out on the floor.
Never did get a reason for this. But when the kids grew and the girl went away to college, whatever it was quit and went away.
My mother in law was over at their house one day and personally saw the ashtray move on the table until it hit the floor.
I don't really believe in this stuff, but when something like this happens you have to wonder. We are talking intelligent women, and a successful business owner, middle class ordinary people and they swear it was haunted.

I also have one of those heaters and now that I'm thinking of, it has happened to me before just I couldn't remember if it was on or off that's why I didn't freaked out when it happened but I mean it was really strange because I could've swear that it was off, I don't know about the cell phone tough that was creepy.

Demons for some reason choose certain places to become their dwelling place and they become very territorial too. There are some that for some reason do not cause you physical harm but you feel their presence and others that just go physical and violent. Moving to another house can be a solution, but sometimes the follow. Since demons are supernatural beings we cannot fight them. Only another supernatural being can. You must strenghten you relationship with God by gaining accurate knowledge of Truth and pray for His protection. Unfortunately this entities dwell among us because they were hurled down to Earth until the day of Armageddon.

Okay the heater...it has a short in it. Manufacturer defect. Wires are messed up. Something like that can be easily explained and the whole camera taking pics? It hit something to make it do that.

Obviously, i don't believe in ghosts.

Heaters have thermostats that allow them to shut off at certain temperatures, then turn themselves back on. Or it's possible that it was overheating. They will turn off and on when they do that.
I can't explain the cell phone, but I doubt your house is haunted. Believe me, if it was, you would know and wouldn't have to ask.

It is possible that the heater has a short in it. The cell phone, I don't know, but as it is another electronic device, could also have a malfunction.

Well if it is true or not... u can just pray to God about it. (not forcing ppl to turn to christianity or something but it helps when i am scared lol)
