My 1st Team would consist of
C- Bill Russell. You could put Shaq here or Wilt or Kareem but if you want a proven winner and someone who will defend and rebound all the time, then Russell is the center.
PF- Karl Malone. Arguably the best power forward of all-time He rebounded well and defended too. Had a great mid-range game.
SF- Larry Bird. You need someone to stretch the defense and Bird can shoot jumpers at will
SG- Michael Jordan. The greatest player of all-time. Could score, defend, rebound, had all the intangibles. He knew how to win games down the stretch.
PG- Magic Johnson. A 6'9 point guard. Hard to defend and shared the ball. On a team with Jordan, Bird, and Malone, someone has to find them and give them the ball at the right spots. Hard to find anyone who did it better than Magic Johnson.
2nd Team
C- Wilt Chamberlain. Chamberlain dominates the paint and can be the cornerstone on the offensive end as well as take up space on defense.
PF- Tim Duncan. He would be the perfect complement to Wilt and after winning 3 NBA titles, Duncan is already a legend at such a young age.
SF- Dr. J. The Doctor was smooth on the court and was fun to watch. He was the complete player who made basketball look easy. His long arms made him a terror on defense.
SG- Oscar Robertson. Robertson could get a triple double at will and did whatever it took to win.
PG- Bob Cousy. His smooth ball-handling skills and his nitch for winning makes him one of the best pgs of all time.
