Well here is my honest oppinion:
first off I think what happened to him is a bunch of bull crap!! They never should have fired him... Ok maybe take him off for two weeks but that was enough..
Second off there are so many people saying that this is not a freedom of speech thing but it is.. He did say something he shouldnt have but he did appologize for it.. But if the tables were turned and it was a black guy saying this about a white team all this wouldnt have happened... Just so everyone knows i am not prejeduice, I have many friends of all colors, black, white, oriental, you name it, They are my friends...

I think this world needs to even out and realize that just because he said something like he did, he did appologize for it, but he has said things about other people, for example, gays, other whites, all different races, you name it and he has commented!!

I think when he said it, it came out and he didnt think before it was said, it is a live show and that can be hard sometimes...
Why cant they forgive him?? I would really like to know... Is it becaue he made apparences on shows and they downed him so bad.. well personally i dont believe its any of their business!!!.
Now also that team has so much publicity that what he actually said made them really noticed,, and to be honest, I didnt know hardly anything about the team before this..

I dont think what msnbc did was right at all and I support Don Imus all the way.. He has done so much for children at his ranch but people dont look at that point of it!!
I believe they should.. He is not a bad person at all!!

I hope he gets a contract somewhere else doing what he loves and I will always listen to him!!!

If a white guy calls a black guy '*****' he's talked approximately as a racist and all people is going up in palms, if a black guy calls a white guy 'cracka' he's only talked approximately as a black guy. immediately by using asserting a form of phrases human beings decide you one way or the different reckoning on your epidermis coloration. subsequently they might't say each and everything they choose anymore because of the fact it is without delay judged via a minimum of one be conscious as a replace of the full ingredient they're asserting. additionally be conscious i only typed in n-igga (with out the hyphen) and cracka. N-igga got here up censored immediately on an identical time as cracka did not. exciting huh? Mira, cracka= whip cracker, as in overseer of slaves, as in slave grasp. So i'm allowed to be talked approximately as a slave proprietor basically? If it is o.k. to assert cracka it may well be o.k. to assert *****. additionally we could all and sundry be conscious that politically properly have been Caucasion and African American. i don't see how that works, why am I not a eu American, or an Irish-Portugese American. i be attentive to a woman from South Africa thats why and is talked approximately as caucasion as a replace of African American

What an idiot. I'm sorry that he harbors such racist feelings, but he's also completely incompetent, if he thought he could express his personal offensive views in his job capacity. What's the word, um, integrity?

I am tired of double standards. I wonder if Chris Rock will ever get in trouble for his racist remarks?
