Basically it is where the guy rubs his area up against your butt or your area too, and you rub back.

Grinding is a type of dirty dancing that most teenagers and young adults do at clubs and school dances
If a guy grinded with a girl, it means that he was dancing with her. The girl stands in front of the guy, and the guy stands very close behind the girl with her back up against his chest and her butt up against his crotch. The girl moves her hips, ribs, arms, and butt while the guy holds her hips or waist. Grinding is usually done to hip hop music. This is just the basic style, but it can get more complicated.
There is regular grinding and slow-grinding. A slow grind is done to a slower places song. I guess it is a little more intimate and slow moving. Normal grinding is fast paced and high energy.
It looks pretty sexual, and it can be done in many different ways.
