Seriously, Yankees have NO pitching whatsoever this year, and not only that. But why do you think they going to win the WS EVERY year???? I don't get that.
Clearly, there's better teams......*TWINS!* I'd like your thoughts Yankee fans...although everyone is welcome.

Yankees are full of them selves everyody on that team is on steroids look at A-Rod he got more weight on him and all of a sudden he can hit. Also they spend like crazy so they take all the free agents and they arn't taking Johan. Also the Yankees can't win they have been the best team or made the play-offs every year and always choke just like Rex Grossman and/or Peyton Manning.

You are absoulutly correct on there are finally better teams this year that are going to crush those steroud using full of them selves yankees.

Yankee fans go back to the Bronx because every where else you are deeply hated. oh to bad for you

I do not have to return 106 years. I want most effective return 10 years in the past to 1998, and once more in 1999 and once more in 2000. That used to be the final dynasty in baseball. Every different crew after that has been a parody at excellent. That is the item with being this sort of excellent and ancient franchise is that you just are not able to exclude the Yankees from any dialogue involving the excellent crew in baseball. Who is the transparent favourite at all times, 24/7, 365? The Yankees. Why? Because we earned that proper over the beyond one hundred years. We easily are on the best of the baseball global watching down on the subsequent closest festival.. St. Louis with 10 jewelry. Can you blame Yankee enthusiasts for being so proud and I admit a bit of conceited. We earned that proper. We do not move via 86 yr droughts considering we've got leadership committed to consistently successful. 12 instantly seasons within the playoffs does not come from loss of difficult paintings. And each and every yr a few ESPN analyst predicts that the Yankees are going to win all of it. Why? Because we're the Yankees. So haters drink up, the haterade is bloodless and bitter. Little piece of knowledge you would no longer be conscious of. Add up the entire championships the Patriots, the Celtics and the Red Sox have and it STILL does not surpass 26. That is how well we're. In the tip all enthusiasts say that their crew is the excellent. You would not be a real fan in case you did not believe your crew wasn't going to win or wasn't the excellent. At least while you're a Yankee fan, announcing your crew is the excellent does not sound loopy.. considering ninety nine.nine% of the time.. it is actual.

Well the 26 championships definitely help, but besides that, how about the fact they've made the playoffs for 12 consecutive years (every year since 1995)? Would have been 13 if the strike didn't end the '94 season. Making the playoffs is the first step to winning the World Series, so seeing as the Yanks are pretty much guaranteed to make the playoffs each year, they've already got a jump on everyone else.

Secondly, you may think our pitching is shoddy, but I'm not going to use the first few games to determine the outlook for the season. Pettitte has looked good and will find his groove. Pavano looked great in his last start which should be a big confidence booster for him. Moose's injury doesn't seem too serious, so hopefully he should get back to full form soon, and then we should be getting back Chien-Ming soon as well who did outstanding for us last year. And of course we have Mo to close.

So I fail to see the "huge" pitching dilema others seem to see. And that's especially true when we have batters that are a threat to score every inning. And do we even have to mention A-Rod's unbelievably en fuego start?!

So yeah, I love the Yanks chances to go all the way this year. They upgraded their pitching with Pettitte (a proven playoff performer) and they upgraded at first base with Mientkiewicz, which will consequently improve the play of the rest of the infield.

So you Yankee haters out there can think what you want, but you know you're just kidding yourselves if you don't think the Yanks have as good a chance of any to win the World Series.

PS. As for "buying championships"...their championship teams consisted of jeter, posada, bernie, mariano and pettitte, all home-grown players (there were more, but the names are escaping me at 3:30AM right now). So just another case of haters not getting their facts straight. It wasn't money that won them those 4 titles in 5 years, it was the outstanding scouting and farm system.

Well, since you rasking a Twins fan, I am one!

"Well, why not? The Yanks make it to the playoffs practically every single year. They may come up short handed every so and then but there still in the playoffs.

When people say that the Yankees buy there Rings, it's just crap because it's the "Fans" who helped give the Yankees there money. They want to see there team win, and they want to win, win, win. There is no limit to how many WS Rings you can get.

You seriously cannot ignore the fact that they have 26 rings. Back then, people weren't so rich."

Yankees have a hisotry in success, and will continue untill for some reason they bomb down.

This is my thought 'bout the Yanks.

I despise the Yankees, they are the Evil Empire. But you have to realize they have 26 or 27 championships since 1900, the next closest team (I think its the Cardinals) has like 10 or 11. But I hate the Yankees! Go Rangers.

Honestly those 26 World Titles mean nothing in 2007-another year the Yankees won't do squat. The Yankees may be the 6-7th best team in the AMERICAN LEAGUE. Yankees fans should know that the titles won in the 90's were from quality pitching and guys who played with heart (Paul O'Neill,Tino Martinez,Stanton, even Knoblauch)--NYY are a team loaded with ego's and dead arms...Arod and his 7 blasts mean nothing-look at the standings. I look for Oakland to sweep em today--and I look for Cleveland (West brook and Sowers starts) to take 2 of 3 this coming week in New York...quite easily too. And only 2 of 3 because Fausto Carmona can't pitch a lick. That division is weak...Boston REdsox look to be the only real deal--possibly Toronto...Yankees are non-factors--and so are their fans fanatsies.

Chelsea, grow up and learn something about baseball. Yankee fans expect to win every year because that's what they are use to. The Yankees have no pitching. What rock did you crawl out from under. If any team goes on the field not thinking they can win they are doing a great disservice to themselves, the fans and opposing players!

Lots of series titles, 26. Everyone should have the same feeling about their team. Granted the Yankees spend a lot of money on players, but they still have to win the games. Be honest, you probably think the Yankees will be there too, but don't want it to happen. Same for everybody.

Go YANKEES!!!

I'm not a Yankee's fan what-so-ever. CHICAGO WHITE SOX BABY!!! But, probably because the Yankees are a very well payed team, and have great players all around. Then again though, it may just be because they are Yankees fans. A lot of Cubs fans think that this year**which ever year that may be** will be the year for them. And it definetly hasn't been in the last few years.
