AS RICKY IS ONLY A GOOD BATSMAN I WOULD SAY KALLIS IS BETTER THAN RICKY WHO IS GOOD IN BOTH BATTING AND BOWLING.

Jacque Kallis is a Allrounder where as Ricky Ponting is a Batsman only. But Jacqu Kallis is slightly goood over all than Ricky Ponting.

Jack Kallis is an all-rounder whereas Ricky Ponting is only a Batsman. So, if we compare the batting of these two, definitely Ponting has an edge over Kallis , both in the ODI form of cricket and Test cricket. His records speak for himself ! So, Ponting is way ahead of Kallis. Even in terms of fielding, Ponting scores over Kallis !

Jacques Kallis is undoubtedly one of the finest all-rounders to have played the modern game. He is an all-rounder in the true sense of the term, in that he can bat and bowl - with a high degree of success - against the best in the business. Ponting has definitely got the best technique of all Australian batters and that includes that of Bradman who was too one dimensional. Ponting has all the strokes even though he’s a bit vulnerable early on at the off stump with poor footwork..Kallis contributes by bowling and taking some crucial wickets whereas ponting catches up in the field by taking stunners.However,I don't think it is right to compare them as both are masters of their own standards.They have put their hearts out in crisis and contributed greatly to the teams success.

While Jacque Kallis is a very good player, I consider Ricky Ponting as a better player as he is more consistent than Jacque Kallis.

No never. Kallis is a good player. But he cannot match Ponting in any form of game.
Do you know that during his county days, because of being super consistent in hitting centuries in every match by Ponting, the rules of the game had to be changed. It was changed in a manner that a batsman has to leave the field once he hits fifty just because of the way in which Ponting had batted!
No bowler had a ball that could get Ponting out!
Such a player he is!
His aggression, consistency, and adaptivity are simply matchless! He is one of the precious asset of the game!

No,Kallis is not better than Ricky. Kallis is a All Rounder but Ricky is a Good Captain and and Good batsmen also.He performances Good at Captain role and batsmen role also
