That all depends. If you're at an Islanders game at the Colliseum, the nosebleed section is wherever you're sitting when you get hit in the face by a beer bottle thrown by a classless Islanders fan. In any other arena, it's the uppermost deck "where the air is so thin you get a nosebleed".

Well, technically you could achieve quite a nosebleed by sitting close to the ice as well, if seated just above the glass behind the net. Have seen quite a few of those during some Dallas Stars games.

Puck skips off the goalie or the post and zings right into the crowd. Watched a girl get knocked senseless during a Stars/Avalanche game one year.

But in most cases every seat is pretty good at a hockey game. Watching it on TV and actually being there are 2 totally different experiences! I'm sue you'll enjoy it live!

Doesn't this question belong in the Polls and Surveys section? I'm just kidding. Seriously though, it depends on the type of question. If it is something about the team, or it's history, or it's players, then they should be here. But if they are questions such as How do I do this or that, then those should belong in the video game section, BUT, an argument for those kind of questions being in the hockey section would be that the people who come to the hockey section also play the hockey games and would probably know. So I guess the best you can do is pick one or the other based on your own judgement and hope you get the answer(s) you're looking for and not "This doesn't belong in the (name of) section."

Nosebleed section is up in the rafters - the uppermost section in the arena.
It will give you an interesting perspective on the game. Instead of just following the puck, as on tv, you will have the opportunity to watch plays develop end-to-end, or watch an individual player's shift. It's easier to see this kind of stuff from the nosebleed section than down by the ice!!

It's not always at the top. In the Nassau Coliseum, I'd say the nosebleed seats are the second level, all the way in the back. You can't see the other end of the ice if you're behind a net, because the top row seating extends out and down. You have to bend down to see whats happening at the other side and if the guy in front of you gets up quickly, your nose will bleed and his head will hurt.

Believe it or not sitting in the nosebleeds for a hockey game is pretty good. I like sitting up high because you get to see the whole ice area and see the plays develop.

the part of the arena where the seats are sometimes at such a steep incline you feel dizzy. if your afraid of heights?....not the best section for you

how steep it is depends on the arena/stadium ....some arent that bad "nosebleed" sections

Way in the upper levels. Nosebleed - like you're so high up in the atmosphere it causes your nose to bleed. It's still fun though.

Depends on where you are at during the game. Seating wise, we all know its the last row of seats at the top of any sports venue. If on the ice, anywhere, any time. Love a good fight!
