we can't see pluto clearly for 3 reasons:
1) it is very small (0.0066 earths)
2) it is very far away from earth (about 40 times the distance from the sun to the earth)
3) it does not produce light
by the way 2015 is when the new horizons spacecraft is expected to arrive there
