I enjoy sitting by a fire whether it be in a house or in the wilderness the affect is the same.

The flicker of a campfire is mesmerizing. In the wilderness with the scent of pine thick in the air, a starlit night, good friends, good stories, good times and a sense of oneness with Nature.
Inside a fire provides a sense of peacefulness and warmth, conducive to quiet reflection, a good read, a romantic encounter, or just a welcome haven from a storm.

I love sitting by a campfire. Just be on the lookout for stray embers. Those burn like a son-of-a-b*tch! This happened last summer and I had a blister between my toes. Not good.

I was at a retreat last summer and all of us (about 80) went and had a campfire where we would tell of our experience and sing worship songs.. it was sooo great seeing all the stars under a warm campfire...

Yes I feel very comfortable when I am by a campfire. It makes me relax and forget all of my problems.

Yes I love campfires, or fires in a pasture and everyone with a truck backs up to it and we drink beer and have fun and listen to KEVIN FOWLER and ROGER CREAGER and RANDY ROGERS and ROBERT EARL KEEN, a few of my favs! LOVE TEXAS COUNTRY MUSIC!

It's been so long I wouldn't know. But by memory it was rather nice and especially sharing the moments with friends or that special someone.
