The only way I have ever seen to get rid of cockroaches is to totally clean the house & wipe everything down. Next keep it clean & wiped down(no dishes in sink or pans on stove overnight)-if there is nothing for them to feed on they will go to your neighbors house & search for food. They can smell it for miles. Next go to the hardware store & buy a can of Roachpruff. It is amazing. My ex MIL rented an apartment that had been infested with roaches, it was gross!! I cleaned it for her & put the Roachpruff down around the baseboards, under the sink, in the bathroom. I even put it along the edges of the cupboards.
You just have to be careful if you have children or pets.

Not unless it contains borax. If you want to spread laundry stuff, use borax..........maybe it will work.
