When I was still on the police department I used to have really vivid combat dreams. Thank goodness those are mostly gone, there were times I was in some serious stuff when I woke up I was pretty glad to have been dreaming!

Yes!! I've even had dreams where I dreamt I was lying in bed, and I thought I was awake, then I really woke up and thought, "Oh, it was just a dream!"

A truly active mind (awake or asleep) will generate thoughts, emotions, feelings, sights and sounds. If you wake up suddenly from a very active dream, the mind just keeps going...you may even remember that particular dream all day. Hope they're good ones!

Yes, there were times I woke up really happy to realize that it was just a dream but there were moments I was really sad to know that the dream was just.. well.. a dream.

Like the night I dreamed I was eating a couple great big marshmallows, and when I woke up in the morning both of my pillows were gone.

Something like that, yes. My dreams these days are few and far between. They're short too, and I usually wake up right after them. I think there's a reason behind that, but I'm not 100% sure what it is yet.

Yes!! I've also had dreams so real that the next day later on, I'll think something really happened and forget that it was something I dreamed not something that was real.

I have had a dream that I was talking with my father that past away 9 years ago and it seemed incredibly real like he was still alive. It almost felt like he came to visit me in my dream.

I've had dreams so real before that I cant remember if something that happened was real or a dream. I hate that.
