It was indeed Julie Rogers but Paul Stookeys song of the same name is far superior and yes,a version of this was done by Petula Clark and very good it is too.You shouldnt have too much difficulty getting hold of a copy of the Julie Rogers one ,it was a huge hit in Britain in sept 1964---its proper title is just The Wedding, (its the one that starts "You by my side thats how I see us"--I only have a copy of this on tape but if you cant find it I will gladly send you a copy...the two versions by Stookey and Pet clark Im no longer sure I have and it could take me a while to find them.Ive moved house twice and things get misplaced and Ive a lot of records, Anyway ,I diverse .Good luck on your search. Dont forget the difference---julies was just THE WEDDING..........Paul Stookeys (and Pet Clarks same version is THE WEDDING SONG)...That starts something like "May peace be now among you at the starting of your day (life), whenever two or more of you are gathered in His name , there is love"Thats about all I can remember.Bye and good luck. Someone else will be able to tell you how to download it or where from , Im computer illiterate Im sorry to say.....but you will get it/them,

"The Wedding Song " I remember was sung by Paul Stookey(from Peter, Paul, & Mary). However, I checked my Joel Whitburn Billboard Top 100 book and it lists a version by Petula Clark from 1972
Perhaps that's the one you're thinking of.

Julie Rodgers. It's on quite a few compilation discs. Ask at one of the music stores and they'll do a computer check for it for you.

I don't think Rose Marie is a singer. I think she's more of a comedian. Butt, I've been wrong before, and I'm sure I'll be wrong again.
