This goes back to the 80's when guys started to pierce their ears--when they just pierced their right was a sign they were gay and open. If they pierced with in both meant gay and taken. If just the left ear they were just a punker--lol. This goes way back and it so common for guys to get pierced anywhere now.

Ive got my left one pierced and not my right. The only reason I did this is because I didnt want people to get the wrong idea and think I was gay, but personally I think the 'left is right, right is wrong' is stupid. Im probably going to get my right one pierced soon.

like stated before, it was that a right ear piercing was to show you were gay. not so much in the mid-90s as ear piercings began to grow popular, and many guys had both ears done. see wayans bros.

one side means your stright the other means your "gay"
gay is being used litteraly- jsut so thats clear since gay is the prob. the word used inccorrectly 99% of the time =]

i dunno, i think if you only have one piercing (either on your nose or ear) it looks better on their left side.. but thats just me
