35 years ago I believed that "Love Will Conquer All". And it does hold true for me today. I never dated much in school, I married the first man I ever went out with and then I was 22, then I had two kids and a rough marriage and then I had cancer at 40. I divorced that year that I went through chemotherapy and later became friends with a man who became my best friend and soul mate. I went through a lot of challenges in my life, but I still always felt that love does conquer all. You can't go out and find wisdom. It comes to you, keep an open mind, an open ear and a open heart and it will find you.

I recommend watching the movie "Under the Tuscan Sun". I may be only 19 years old, but it truly teaches you a lesson about life and the amazing places it can take you, and that you will always come up from a down. I too believe all you need in life is love, but, i think i need to set up a life of my own and get on my feet, before i only rely on love.

In our youth, we make decisions and those decisions catch up with us. It happens to millions...you are not alone.

Love is wonderful, but it doesn't heal everything...not immediately.

It sounds like you need to get your life in order. If education interest you, taking a class in something that will help your growth and you will meet people. There are advertisements in magazine-like newspapers for various groups. You could join a group...this is a very good way to meet new people. Even if you're not religious, churches like Unity (non-denominational) have very interesting topics and reading groups...a great way to meet people!

Your life is not over, great love can still come your way. You have to take positive actions. Some that I have mentioned will require little money.

Good luck to you!

i'm not so sure "all you need is love" but it helps. that's a beatles song isn't it? you need someone to share with. be it your hopes, dreams or reality. alone, it doesn't make sense. money or not, it's what is inside that matters and most feel they need someone else to...i don't know...what was the question? wisdom comes from experience. experience comes from living. you'll probably never read this answer. don't give up.

It is because our society is so capitalistic. Imagine growing old somewhere like Greece where family and friends is more important than anything. Imagine having universal health care so you wouldn't feel stressed about being broke, you could enjoy your life more. We just have the wrong priorities. Love isn't wrong, grubbing for a buck our whole life is what is wrong.

I had the opposite belief...
Live life to the fullest, fast and hard.
Get laid as much and as often as you can etc...
Now I'm old, no money, no love.
Wisdom,???
Only life experience!
