I dont really want rice thrown at me on my big day. Any other alternatives?

We used rose petals at my wedding and it made for beautiful pictures. I would definitely recommend flower petals of some kind, but rose petals are my favorite. Congratulations!

Bubbles are a fun alternative! Rice shouldn't be thrown at a wedding instead people have started using bird seed. I actually heard it was against the law although I haven't looked it up to be sure. I think bubbles would be the best though.

Most municipalities no long allow rice to be thrown becuase it can kill certain bird species. You will have to check with wherever your marriage takes place. There are bird foods you can use as alternatives, Or confettii A friend of mine used glitter.

Most party stores sell Little bottles of bubbles just for the occasion. You have someone hand them out as people are leaving the Church, and everyone blows them toward you. It looks really pretty. Congratulations and best wishes.

Don't supply rice to be thrown. Most venues don't allow it anyway b/c it is bad for birds.
People don't have to throw anything.
Some people blow bubbles, but I think it is tacky.

Birdseed- it's better for the environment. Also, bubbles are really popular. Have everyone blow bubbles as you and your honey are going to your car.

I had bubbles at my wedding. It was pretty and the kid's loved them. It also was less clean-up afterwards!!!
