How come White people don't stand up to the BS that comes w/ the Race Issue?

Because most white people have better things to do with their lives than running around crying and whining about someone who said something stupid . . . Sharpton and Jackson, on the other hand, have nothing better to do . . .

Because it doesn't matter what is said against white people. They are still better off than most of the other races. They are still richer, more successful and more influential than the other races.
The black people( and people of other races) on the other hand still have to rise up in society to catch up with the whites. What happened in the past still has an effect on them. Society is not yet balanced. So there's some denigrating comment about other races, it must be dealt harshly. Because we know from history how unjust the society becomes, once such comments are adopted as norm.
But ofcourse, it is not fair to similar degrading comments against white people either. But the effects of the same comment on different races are not the same.

More people than you think do but the majority just will not make a stand. This goes hand in hand with the falling of christianity in the country. People need to start standing for something.

Because history tells us that white people truly have been the WORST. I am considered white, but I will admit to this.. the idea of superiority comes along with being white, and still does in some places. Which is HORRIBLE and WRONG. Which is why, I'm sorry, white people are NOT allowed to complain haha.
Personally, I'd rather be darker... I'm pale :S

I come from england and we get your shows here and we get those ones where its just black people like the wyans brothers and when theres a white guy on it hes either a moron or an *** hole i don't get it i find that to be racist. Your right we should stand up for our selves.

Stand up to what? You think Imus is allowed to say whatever he wants to on publicly funded airwaves? Not on my dime. People are crazy enough, without some idiot poking 'em where it hurts. Imus is gone not because he's a racist, but because he's stupid. Did you read about the "amateur filmmaker" who insulted a group of lesbians in Greenwich Village? He was yelling at them, telling them how he could do them all and make them straight. They beat him within an inch of his life. One of the women is on trial right now in Manhattan for attempted murder. The guy might not be a homophobe, or whatever the anti-lesbian equivalent is, but if you stir up a hornet's nest, you can expect to get stung. Happy Retirement, Imus.

Well it is understandable for there to be a double standard on the use of offensive language. There is some justification for calling it Racism because as I understand the term. A racist is a person that believes their particular race is superior to at least one other race. One way to demonstrate this attitude is to use racially descriptive and offensive language to refer to the other race.
If you use similar language to refer to your own race it just doesn't demonstrate a contempt for or a superiority over another race at all. I think its really pretty easy to understand.

Bc in history white ppl have done so many bad things in the past that anything white ppl say is not taken into consideration.

cuz they are all racist and they blame white people of being racist because of what happened 100 years ago, get over it!...we don't owe you anything! would you all prefer to be taken back to africa and given huts...that makes up for it!
