At least you can vote. (Thanks to the Twenty-sixth Amendment.) During the Vietnam war you couldn't vote until you were 21.
In some cases or states, alcohol permits can be purchased at a cost to the parent or legal guardian. As of 2006, 20 states do not specifically ban underage consumption and an additional 15 states have family member and/or location exceptions to their underage consumption laws.

Well you can drink in Louisiana at 18. Even if you live in a state where 21 is the legal age, it really doesn't matter because the vast majority of kids have had a drink before 18 so the law really doesn't stop them anyway!

Those who are fated to survive war and death for country are clever enough to drink at 18 or younger without penalty. With limb loss and still can't find a beer is somebody who isn't trying hard enough. Drink beer or this is proof of Darwinism.

Who says you can't drink at 18? You can't BUY at 18, but open up your eyes catfish (that's your army nickname) and check out all the people in your highschool drinking on the weekends.

well my friend in canada u only gotta be 19 to drink so if u enlist here at 18 by the time u get back frum afghan land u'll be able to buy a drink
