I have a 2001 yamaha yz250.. what kind of fluid do you put into the radiator??? is it just basic radiator fluid or somethingspecial for dirtbikes?

Nothing special. You need to stick with whatever's already in there, or do a good flush. You can get some nasty results if you mix the wrong types. Dexcool is good for high temp engines like a bikes.

Use a mixture of 1/2 antifreeze (the type that's safe for aluminium) and 1/2 distilled water.

I've never heard anyone talk about using anything different for liquid cooled dirtbikes, and all of the dirtbikes I've ridden have been air cooled.

when you find the radiator on this thing....follow the instructions on the cap

its usually 50/50 mix antifreeze and water.
