What do you do when a friend (who lives in a different country) says that he wishes you will be together? I talk to him on the computer, and we are friends, but I don't know what to say to that. And the sad thing is that I don't know that we will ever see each other again anyway.
Please help :)

tell him that kind of relationship is simply not possible, but you wish you could.

Dude i moved to usa from india and i have so many friends over there that i miss. I chat with a few of my friends online and they ask me when i would come to see them. I just plainly tell them that its not going to be anytime in the near future as my family has to get settled really well before we start travelling around.

i would say that it's just a set of words. if he doesn't plan on moving in with you or near you. and you don't either - i would keep it as a penpal thing. there isn't much point if having a relationship when your so far apart (unless your already married, but even then...)
