This is considering past comments about Duke lacrosse players, Jewish people, and the recent Imus situation. Has this become a double standard situation? Personally, I feel Jackson and Sharpton are products of their upbringing and are too busy living in the past instead of learning from it!!!

ABSOLUTELY! They perpetuate the myth of the poor downtrodden black race, and the bad ole' white man that done it to them. We would all be better off without their big ignorant mouths, black and white alike! They LOVE to see the trouble they cause when they come swooping in to save some "innocent" black person. Funny how they never apologize or comment when the person is actually proved to be guilty.

Yeah, Imus was a jerk and his comments were uncalled for but Sharpton and Jackson really have no business being the PC Police considering their shady pasts.

Yep. We call them "attention wh**** in othe areas, but since these are darker-skinned folk we're supposed to treat them with kid gloves. I say, remind everyone of how Al Sharpton first got his name in print: supporting that girl who filed a false police report, lying about being raped.That created A LOT of harshness between the races, and in the end, the black girl was merely a liar. Jackson is only a little better (look at his family life).
