I've seen the new and the old and it was ok for a kids movie but I kept comparing it to the old cartoon and that probably ruined it for me, but a child seeing it for the first time should enjoy it well enough. My children did.

Are you talking about the new one? I've seen both and I really liked the new one much better. I took my daughter to see it and expected I would probably just get a good nap, but I was surprised at how good it was. I really got caught up in it!
